APNSIR Foundation proudly derives its name from Antarjyami Nayak, a distinguished Government Officer who devoted his life to serving the most remote regions of Kandhamal, such as Belaghar, Tumudibandh, Bilamal, and Guma, during the 1960s. His unwavering dedication to improving the lives of people in these challenging areas serves as an inspiration for today's generation. Renowned Gyanapith awardee, Late Gopinath Mohanty, paid tribute to his selfless work, stating: "Sri Antarjyami Nayak worked as an Officer in The Purchase-sale and Fair Price Shop scheme in the most backward Kandh areas of the Baliguda Sub-division... the work involved moving on foot through Sal Jungles and hills infested with wild elephants and man-eating tigers."
Building on this legacy, APNSIR Foundation was co-founded by Mr. Atmaprakash Nayak, an educator by profession, and Mrs. Suchismita Parida, the daughter of a retired teacher. Both directors share a deep commitment to teachers' welfare and societal betterment. With a strong belief that education, health, and environmental stewardship are key to improving lives, they aim to empower educators and learners alike.
The foundation's initiatives focus on teacher welfare, career counseling, hands-on practices, skilling, upskilling, and reskilling for trainees and learners. Moreover, APNSIR Foundation passionately undertakes activities rooted in moral motivation, inspiration, and character-building, fostering holistic development for individuals and society.
We warmly welcome like-minded individuals to join hands with APNSIR Foundation and actively contribute to the progress and well-being of the communities they live in.
